Post 1 — Tip

Your plant isn't sulking. It's cramped.

3 signs it's time for a bigger pot:

1. Roots peeking out of the drainage hole
2. Water runs straight through without soaking in
3. New leaves are smaller than the old ones

Spotted one of these? Bring your plant to our repotting bar. We'll pick the pot, you get your hands dirty. 🌱

Post 3 — Story

Meet Gus. He's 11 years old and has survived two moves, one cat and a very bad winter.

Gus was the first plant we ever sold — and the customer gave him back when she moved abroad. He lives by our counter now, a bit lopsided and very proud. Every big leaf on him is a year of someone remembering to water.

What's the oldest plant in your home? Tell us its name below.

Post 5 — Tip

Most houseplants die in winter from too much love.

Less light means slower growth, and slower growth means less water. Before you water, push a finger 2 cm into the soil. Dry? Water. Damp? Walk away.

Save this post for the next cold snap.
