About this service
Festival programmers, funds and producers often decide whether to read your script from one sentence and one page, and most loglines fail by describing the theme instead of a character who wants something and faces something in the way. We write loglines that name the protagonist, the goal, the obstacle and the stakes, plus a short synopsis and, in the higher packages, a one-page synopsis that tells the whole story including the ending, as funders expect. Each version fits the word limits of common application forms.
What is included
- What you getLogline options, a short synopsis of about 100 words, a one-page synopsis in the higher packages and a director's statement draft in Premium, each with its word count. You get it as text on the order page that you can copy or download.

What we need from you
Your script, treatment or a detailed outline pasted in, the genre and length, where you will submit and any word limits from the application forms.
We will ask you:
- Is it a feature, a short or a series?
- Where will you submit?
- Are there word limits in the forms?

Questions and answers
Should the synopsis give away the ending?
Yes, for funds and producers it should, because they judge the whole story. For audience-facing blurbs we can write a separate spoiler-free version within your revisions.
Can you work without a finished script?
Yes, a detailed outline or treatment is enough, as long as it includes the ending.
Who owns the script?
Once the order is complete, you can use it as your own, including for festivals, funding applications and commercial release.
