About this service
Apple wants an app preview to be 15 to 30 seconds long and to show the app itself as captured on the device, so a clip made from scratch can't be the whole preview on its own. What we make is the part around your screen recording: a vertical scene of the moment your app solves, such as a runner at dawn or a traveller at a gate, which you combine with your own capture in an editor or use as an ad where the store's rules leave no room for it.

Questions and answers
Can this clip be uploaded as the preview on its own?
Usually not. Apple asks previews to show the app in use, captured from the device, so add your own screen recording. On its own, the clip works as an ad on TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
Can you show my app's screens in the scene?
No. Text and interface details on a screen inside a moving scene come out unreliable, so the real screens should come from your own capture.
Will it match the exact size App Store Connect asks for?
The clip is 9:16, close to the portrait iPhone preview, but each device size has its own pixels. Resize or crop it in your editor to the size the store lists before uploading.
Can a person in the scene speak about the app?
No one speaks to the camera with matching lips in this service. Put your message in captions or a voice-over that you add in your editor.
