We create logo concepts for independent bookstores, small presses and imprints, where the mark has to work in places as different as a shop sign, a tote bag and the narrow spine of a paperback. Directions range from literary and classic, built on type, a colophon-style emblem or a book-related symbol, to modern and playful for children's or genre publishing, all kept simple enough to print small on a spine.

Questions and answers
Will the logo work on a book spine?
Each concept has a compact form for narrow spaces. Check the final size with your printer once the logo is redrawn in vector.
Can you also design book covers?
Not in this service, which covers the logo only. Book covers are a separate order.
Do I get vector files?
No. You get high-resolution PNG images. For print, merchandise and signage, have the chosen concept redrawn in vector.
