About this service
A theatre poster has to promise an evening: the menace of a thriller on stage, the sparkle of a musical, the charm of a school production families want to see. We design a vertical poster around one strong image from your show and its title, in the look of the production, from classic playbill to bold contemporary. Dates, venue, cast and booking details go into a clean block you fill in, so every name is spelled right.

What we need from you
The show's title, what it is about, its genre and era, the image or scene that sums it up, who the audience is, and whether the show is licensed.
We will ask you:
- What is the show called and what is it about?
- Is it a drama, comedy, musical or school production?
- Which scene or image sums up the show?
- Is it a licensed show with its own title artwork?

Questions and answers
We are staging a licensed musical. Can we have our own poster?
Check your licence first: many licensors require their official title artwork. If they allow your own design, we draw the scene and leave room for the official title logo.
Can the poster show our actors?
The brief takes no photos and we do not draw real people's likenesses. We use costumed figures, silhouettes or a symbol from the play instead.
Can I print it for the school corridor?
Yes, A4 and A3 prints work well. For a large banner outside the theatre, ask your printer to check the file first.
