About this service
We design vertical cover frames for YouTube Shorts that make your Shorts shelf and profile grid look like one series. Shorts are browsed in a cropped preview on a phone, so the subject and the one- to three-word headline sit in the middle of the frame, away from the title and buttons at the top and bottom. You can set the picture as the opening frame of the Short and choose it as the cover in the YouTube app.

Questions and answers
How do I use the cover on a Short?
Add the picture as the first frame of the video in your editor, then pick that frame as the cover when you upload. Where the app lets you upload a custom thumbnail, use the file directly.
Can you put my face on the cover?
We do not edit photos. We leave space for your cut-out, or draw an illustrated character in your style.
Will the same covers work in my long-video thumbnails?
They are vertical. For horizontal video thumbnails order a separate thumbnail service.
