Readers judge a blog or media site in the first seconds of an article: a cramped column, tiny type and ads everywhere send them back to search. We draw mock-up concepts of an article page with a cover image area, headline, author line, a comfortable reading column, pull quotes, a subscribe block inside the text and related posts. The article text is shown as placeholder lines, so you see the reading rhythm and layout rather than your actual copy.

Questions and answers
Can you put my real article in the mock-up?
Only the headline. Paragraphs are placeholder lines that may look like pseudo-text; your real articles appear once the theme is built.
Do I get a WordPress theme?
No, you get PNG pictures of the layout. A developer or theme builder recreates it; no code or design-app files are included.
Why is the page split into several pictures?
A long article does not fit one wide picture, so each section is drawn separately; the joins between them may not line up perfectly.
