About this service
Holiday songs come back every December, so the best ones mix warm, familiar images (snow, lights, family at the table) with one fresh idea that makes yours different. We write Christmas, New Year or Hanukkah lyrics for a release, a school or choir concert, a company party or a family video, with a chorus simple enough for children and colleagues to sing. Names, in-jokes and the events of the year can be worked in for a personal version.

We will ask you:
- Which holiday is the song for?
- Who will perform it, and for whom?
- Funny, cozy or festive?
- Should it fit a known melody?

Questions and answers
Can it fit a classic carol tune?
Yes. New words to a public-domain tune like Jingle Bells work well. For a modern hit's melody, a public release may need the rights holder's permission.
Can you write it for a company party?
Yes. Tell us about the team, the year's wins and the in-jokes that are safe to sing in public.
Will children manage to sing it?
We keep the words simple and the lines short; mention the singers' age in the brief.
