Can one post target several towns?
One post can mention your service area, but stuffing many town names hurts it. For each important town, a separate page works better.
Will the article rank on the first page?
No one can promise that. Local rankings also depend on your Google Business Profile and reviews. The post gives search engines and locals a strong page to work with.
