About this service

Japandi mixes Japanese calm with Scandinavian comfort: low furniture, light and dark wood together, paper or linen lamps, stone and clay, muted earthy colours and very little decor. We show your room in this style, with a low sofa or bed, wooden slats, a few ceramics, a sculptural plant and soft textiles in sand, olive or charcoal, keeping the room shape and windows as they are. It is an idea picture made from one of your photos, not a renovation project or a shopping list, delivered as a PNG of about 1.5 megapixels; it is redrawn, so small objects, textures and the window view can change slightly.

Questions and answers

How is it different from Scandinavian style?

Japandi is lower, calmer and darker: more contrast between woods, fewer cosy textiles, earthier colours. If you are not sure, a 3-picture package can show both side by side.

Can you keep my existing floor?

Yes, mention it and we keep its colour and pattern as close as we can. The shape and windows always stay, so it is your room in a new look, not a renovation project with drawings.

Is there anything you won't do?

We do not work on ID photos or documents, add no nudity, and never put in a celebrity or another real person. Send only photos you have the right to use and leave people out of the frame.
