About this service

Choosing paint from a small swatch is hard, because a colour changes with the light, the floor and the furniture around it. Send a photo of your room and we repaint only the walls, or one feature wall, in the colours you name, so you can compare them in your real room with your own furniture, floor and windows kept as they are. It is an idea picture made from one of your photos, not a paint match, delivered as a PNG of about 1.5 megapixels; it is redrawn, so small objects and textures can change slightly, and screens show colour differently, so always test a sample pot on the wall.

What we need from you

Photos of the room as PNG, JPEG or WebP, in daylight, with the walls clearly visible. Describe the colours in words, such as warm white, sage green or deep navy (a paint code helps as a hint, but we cannot match it exactly), and say which walls to paint.

We will ask you:

  • Which colours do you want to try?
  • Which walls should change?
  • Should the ceiling or trim change too?

Questions and answers

Will the colour be exactly like the paint in the tin?

No picture can do that: light, screens and paint finishes all differ. Use the pictures to narrow it down to two or three shades, then paint test patches on your wall.

Can I give a paint code?

Yes, as a guide, together with a description in words. We do not have the maker's colour data, so the shade on screen is close to what you describe, not a certified match.

Is this a decorating plan?

No, it is an idea picture: no quantities, materials or project drawings. Send only photos you have the right to use, without people; we never put in a celebrity or another real person, add no nudity and do not work on documents or IDs.
