We design the header image for an X Community, the group space where members post around one topic, such as indie game devs, a local running scene or fans of a podcast. The header is the first thing people see before they tap Join, so it shows what the community is about in one picture and the community name as a short headline. The image is wide with the key content in the middle, so the header crop keeps it.

No. A profile header sits behind your avatar on your account, while a Community header introduces a group. This service is for the group.
Will text get covered by buttons?
We keep the name and main visual in the centre, away from the edges where X places buttons and crops on phones.
Can you also design a welcome post image?
Yes, in Standard or Premium one of the images can be a welcome post in the same style.
