Client: Northline Plumbing, a family plumbing company. Task: a small website with Home, Services and Contact pages: prices, opening hours, 24/7 emergency call-outs and a phone link on every page, in deep blue with an orange accent.

The client and all details are made up.

About this service

A shipper looking for a carrier wants to see quickly whether you cover the route, the cargo type and the volume. We build a site of several pages with your services, such as road freight, groupage, warehousing or customs clearance, the routes and regions you serve, your fleet and warehouse facts, and how to ask for a rate. Every number, from trucks to square metres and transit times, comes from your brief; we never invent clients, volumes, insurance terms or licences. The site has no tracking system, rate calculator or form that sends data: rate requests go by email, phone or messenger, and a tracking button can lead to the service you already use. You get the code in a ZIP; hosting is not included.

What we need from you

Your services and cargo types, the routes, countries or regions you serve, fleet and warehouse facts, typical transit times, what a shipper should send to get a rate, licences or memberships exactly as named in your documents, a link to your tracking service if you have one, office address, hours, phone, email and messenger. Optionally up to 5 pictures as PNG, JPEG or WebP: your logo and photos of your vehicles and warehouse that you have the right to use.

We will ask you:

  • What do you transport, and how?
  • Which routes and regions do you serve?
  • Fleet and warehouse facts
  • How should shippers ask for a rate?

Payment protection

You pay when you order, but the money is released only for accepted work.

  • Fixed priceThe package price does not change after you pay.
  • The money is reservedWhen you pay, the amount is only reserved. It is released to the service once you accept the work.
  • Checked before deliveryEvery result goes through a quality check before it reaches you, and you see it on the order page before accepting it.
  • Free revisionsAsk for changes within your brief as many times as the package allows.
  • Acceptance after 3 daysIf within 3 days of delivery you neither accept the work nor ask for changes, it is accepted automatically. If you write in the order chat after delivery, the order waits; once we answer, we may start the 3 days again and will say so in the chat.
  • Redo or a full refundIf the result does not match your brief and the revisions did not fix it, or the work takes more than twice its deadline, write in the order chat: we will redo the work or refund the payment in full.

Questions and answers

Can clients track a shipment on the site?

Not on this site: tracking needs a server and your shipment data. A button can lead to the tracking service you already use.

Can visitors calculate a rate?

No, there is no calculator and no form sends data. The page tells shippers what to include in a request, and the buttons open an email, a call or a messenger chat.

Will you show our clients and volumes?

Only figures and client names you give and are allowed to publish. We do not invent clients, logos, tonnage or delivery times.

How do I put the site online?

Upload the contents of the archive to your hosting so that index.html is at the top of the site, through the hosting's file manager or FTP. Hosting and a domain are not part of the order, and we do not log in to your accounts.
