About this service

Scandinavian style means light walls, pale wood, simple furniture with soft shapes, wool and linen textiles and plenty of daylight, and it suits small flats and darker rooms especially well. Send a photo of your room as it is, and we show the same room in that style, with white or warm grey walls, light oak or ash floors, a cosy rug, a few plants and simple lamps, keeping the room shape and windows so you see your own space. It is an idea picture, not a renovation project or a shopping list, made from one of your photos as a PNG of about 1.5 megapixels; it is redrawn, so small objects, textures and the window view can change slightly.

What we need from you

Photos of the room as PNG, JPEG or WebP, taken in daylight and straight, showing most of the room. Tell us what to keep, how much to change (only textiles and colour, or everything), and whether you like it bright white or warmer.

Questions and answers

Will it look cold and empty?

Not if you want it cosy: we add knitted throws, wooden details, warm lamps and plants. Tell us whether you want it closer to hygge or to a cleaner, emptier look.

Is this a plan I can give to a builder?

No, it is an idea picture with no drawings, sizes or materials list. Use it to agree the direction, then plan the work with a contractor.

Which photos can I send?

Photos of your own room that you have the right to use; ask anyone in the frame first, or better send the room without people. We never put in a celebrity or another real person, add no nudity, and do not take ID photos or change documents.
