About this service
A wax seal on a wedding invitation or a gift box is tiny, so the design must survive being pressed into soft wax about two to three centimetres across. We draw seal designs with bold, simple shapes: intertwined initials of a couple, a single letter in a wreath, a small botanical motif or a brand symbol inside a round or scalloped edge. Each concept is shown as a pressed seal in the wax color you choose, so you can see how it will look on the envelope.

Can a seal maker make a real stamp from this?
Yes, as a reference. The maker redraws it for engraving and mirrors it, so the impression reads the right way round.
Can our full names fit on the seal?
Rarely, because the seal is so small. Initials or one short word press much more clearly.
Will the wedding date fit?
A short date or year can go under the initials if you ask. Check every digit in the result before ordering the seal.
