About this service
Readers of a blog or news site arrive on a phone from a social link and decide in a few seconds whether to keep scrolling, so the text column, headline sizes and ad spots must stay calm and readable. We draw vertical phone screens for your publication: a home feed with story cards, an article screen with a headline, lead image frame and body text as placeholder lines, and a section or subscribe screen. The screens are mock-ups for your developer or CMS theme, not a working site, and the real articles come from your editor.
What is included
- What you getPhone screen mock-ups of your blog or news site with the publication name, home feed, article page and section or subscribe screens, with placeholder text. Delivered as vertical PNG mock-ups; no code, HTML or Figma files.
- Readable columnComfortable line length and spacing
- Story cardsFeed with image frames and tags
- Ad and paywall spotsPlaced so they do not break reading
- Subscribe screenNewsletter or membership sign-up
How it works
- 1BriefYou describe the publication
- 2DesignWe draw the reading screens
- 3BuildYour theme is built from the mock-ups
What we need from you
The publication name, the topics you cover, how readers find you, where ads or a paywall sit and a link to your current site.
We will ask you:
- What is the publication called and what does it cover?
- Which CMS or platform runs the site?
- Do you show ads or have a paywall?
- Should it feel like a newspaper or a personal blog?

Questions and answers
Is the text in the article readable?
No, body text is shown as placeholder lines that may look like pseudo-text. The mock-up sets sizes and spacing; your real articles fill it on the site.
Will it work with my WordPress theme?
The mock-ups show how the screens should look. A developer adjusts your theme to match; we do not edit themes or code.
Can ads fit without annoying readers?
Tell us your ad slots in the brief and we place them between paragraphs and cards so the reading flow stays intact.
