About this service
On a Kickstarter or Indiegogo page, backers decide quickly whether they understand your product, and a few clear feature pictures help more than a long block of text. We make your prototype photo into a picture with up to about 6 short callouts taken only from your brief, such as "Folds to 3 cm", "USB-C charging" or "Recycled aluminium", each pointing to the right part. Each PNG is made from one of your photos at about 1.5 megapixels, for the campaign page, updates and social posts but not large prints; check every word and number, and since the picture is redrawn, small details and logos on the prototype can change slightly.
What is included
- What you getYou get 1, 3 or 5 feature pictures for your campaign page as PNG files of about 1.5 megapixels, one per picture in your package.
- Feature calloutsShort lines pointing to the parts backers ask about
- Your real prototypeMade from your photo, not an imagined product
- Key specsSize, weight or battery life, only from your brief
- Campaign coloursCaptions in the palette of your page
- Ready for updatesThe same layout for backer updates and posts
How it works
- 1UploadYou send prototype photos and the callout text
- 2CalloutsWe point each caption to the right part of the product
- 3Check and reviseYou check every spec and ask for changes within your package
What we need from you
Up to 5 photos as PNG, JPEG or WebP of your actual prototype or sample, sharp and fully visible. For each picture, write the callouts exactly as they should read, up to about 6, with exact specs, and tell us whether the product in the photo is a prototype or the final version.
We will ask you:
- Which callouts should each picture have?
- Is the product in the photo a prototype or the final version?
- Which colours should the captions use?

Questions and answers
Do crowdfunding sites allow pictures like this?
Kickstarter's rules ask creators to be honest about what exists, and it has restricted photorealistic renderings of products in the past. Our picture is made from your real prototype photo, but check your platform's current rules and label pictures as a prototype where needed.
Can you show features the prototype doesn't have yet?
No. We draw only what your prototype really has, at its true size and finish. Explain planned features in your campaign text, where you can also give the timeline.
What won't you do?
We don't hide flaws, change the size or colour or add parts. No document or ID photos, no changes to receipts or certificates, no nudity, and never a celebrity or another real person, such as a famous backer holding the product. Send only photos you have the right to use; each picture has a full background.
