About this service
We draw the banner and community icon for a subreddit, the two pictures that tell a visitor what your community is about before they read a single post. Reddit users dislike anything that feels like an ad, so the design speaks the community's own language: its in-jokes, its hobby, its city or game.
What is included
- What you getA wide banner and a community icon as PNG in one style, ready to upload in the subreddit settings.
- Banner and iconA matching pair for the community
- Community languageMotifs members recognise
- Mobile-safe bannerKey motif in the center for the narrow crop
- Icon reads smallA bold symbol inside a circle
How it works
- 1BriefYou describe the community
- 2DesignWe draw the banner and icon
- 3DeliveryYou upload them as a moderator
What we need from you
The subreddit name and topic, its mood and in-jokes, colors you like and a link to the subreddit.
We will ask you:
- What is the subreddit about?
- Which motifs or in-jokes should appear?
- Should the icon be a symbol, a mascot or letters?
- Any colors to use or avoid?

Questions and answers
How do I get a square icon from the picture?
The icon is drawn centered on a plain background; crop it to a square in any editor and Reddit will show it as a circle.
Will the banner be cut on mobile?
Reddit crops banners differently on desktop and mobile, so the important part stays in the middle. Crop or resize it in any editor if the settings ask for another size.
Can you use characters from a game or show?
We draw original pictures inspired by the theme and do not copy other people's characters or logos.
Do I get an editable source file?
No, you get finished PNG images. Vector or layered source files are not included.
