About this service
We turn a family photo into a painted or drawn portrait for the living room wall, a holiday card, a grandparents' anniversary or a family website. Everyone stays in their place from the photo, parents, children, grandparents and even the dog, in the style you choose, and the background can become a soft colour or a calm garden instead of a cluttered room. Families with three to six people work best; in bigger groups each face is small in the frame, so features change more.

What we need from you
Up to 5 photos where the whole family is together, with every face sharp and visible. Name the style and how the portrait will be used. Send your own family photos, with the agreement of the adults in them. A face hidden behind someone else is recreated, not restored exactly.

- Redo or a full refundIf the result does not match your brief and the revisions did not fix it, or the work takes more than twice its deadline, write in the order chat: we will redo the work or refund the payment in full.
Questions and answers
Can you add a family member who is not in the photo?
No, each portrait is made from one photo, so we cannot add someone from another picture. If one photo has everyone together, even an older or casual one, use that.
We are a big family of twelve. Will it work?
It can, but each face takes up little of a 1.5-megapixel picture, so features change more and likeness drops. For big families, a few portraits of smaller groups often look better.
Can we hang it in a big frame over the sofa?
At about 1.5 megapixels the portrait suits a small frame, a shelf or a card. A large frame over the sofa would show soft detail.
Which photos can't be used?
We do not use photos with nudity, including children at bath time, document or ID photos, or photos of people who have not agreed. We never replace a face with a celebrity.
