About this service
We paint your dog, cat, rabbit, parrot or horse from a photo in the style you like, from a regal oil portrait to a light watercolour or a cheerful pop art piece. What makes a pet recognizable is its markings, the shape of its ears, its eye colour and its look, so we keep those and can change the background or add a simple bandana or crown if you ask. It makes a lovely gift for a new pet parent, a birthday or a memorial for a pet that has passed.
What is included
- What you getPNG pictures of about 1.5 megapixels, one per portrait in your package, each made from one of your pet photos in its shape: good for screens, cards, mugs and small frames. Markings and the look stay recognizable, but small details like individual spots or whiskers can differ slightly.

What we need from you
Up to 5 photos of your pet taken at its eye level, with the eyes sharp and the fur well lit. Name the style and any costume or background. Send photos of your own pet, or of a friend's pet with their permission. Photos with nudity are not accepted, we never add a celebrity next to your pet, and fur hidden in the photo is recreated, not restored exactly.
We will ask you:
- Who is your pet?
- Which style would you like?
- Any costume or background?
- What is the portrait for?

Questions and answers
My pet never sits still. Will a blurry photo work?
A little blur is fine, but for blurry eyes and fur the details have to be recreated, so the likeness drops. A photo taken in daylight at the pet's eye level gives the best result.
Can you paint two pets from different photos together?
No, each portrait is made from one photo. If both are in the same photo, we paint them together; otherwise choose a package with two portraits.
Can I put it on a mug or a T-shirt?
Yes, about 1.5 megapixels is usually fine for a mug, a card or a small print on a T-shirt. It is too small for a poster or a large canvas.
Can you change the papers or the passport of my pet?
No, we never change documents, pedigree papers, pet passports or receipts. We only make portraits from your pet's photos.
