About this service
A how-to infographic walks a reader through one task, such as setting up a device, caring for a product or applying for a service, so they can follow it without a long manual. We draw your instructions as numbered steps with simple icons, a short list of what you need before starting and a tip or warning box where you ask for one. It is a tall 1024 x 1536 picture with up to about 8-10 short blocks in your own words, so check each step carefully; Latin-script languages give the cleanest text.
What is included
- What you getYou get 1, 3 or 5 tall PNG how-to infographics of 1024 x 1536 pixels for a help page, a package insert or social posts. Each is a finished picture, not an editable file.
- What you need boxTools or materials listed before the first step
- Numbered stepsEach action as a short line with an icon
- Tip and warning boxesHighlighted only where you ask for them
- Your instructions onlyWe do not add, test or change steps
- Handy for insertsPrints small, up to A4, though not a print-ready file
How it works
- 1InstructionsYou send the task, the steps and any tips
- 2Steps drawnWe number the steps, add icons and draw the guide
- 3RevisionsYou follow the guide once yourself and ask for changes within your package
What we need from you
The task and the title; what the reader needs before starting; every step in order, a few words each, up to about 8-10 blocks in total; any tip or warning to highlight; your colours and the language. If the guide is for a product, describe the product in words, as this service works from your brief only.
We will ask you:
- Which task does the guide explain?
- What does the reader need before starting?
- What are the steps, in order?
- Is there a tip or warning to highlight?

Questions and answers
Can the steps show our actual product?
This service works from your written brief, so steps are drawn with simple icons and generic objects, and small details will not match your product exactly. For a guide based on your own pictures, choose a service that works from your files.
Will you check that the steps are safe and correct?
No, we draw the steps exactly as you write them and do not test or check them. You are responsible for the instructions, including any safety warnings, so follow the guide yourself before you publish it.
Can I show how long each step takes?
Yes, as a short label such as "5 min" or a small progress bar. A bar is illustrative, so the exact time is written next to it.
