File: PNG, 1024x1536. Text and numbers come only from the client's brief; the client checks them before using the picture.

Client: a small business association and a coffee shop. Task: an infographic of survey results with the four figures they sent, and a five-step brewing guide for the counter and Pinterest.

The client and all details are made up.

About this service

A tech explainer shows a beginner how something works, such as how a contactless payment goes through, how solar panels make electricity or how two-step sign-in protects an account, as a few simple stages with arrows. We turn your explanation into a top-to-bottom diagram with plain icons, short labels and one everyday comparison if you give one, so the idea lands without jargon. The diagram is simplified and illustrative, the text is only yours in a 1024 x 1536 picture, and you check each term; Latin-script languages work best.

What is included

  • What you getYou get 1, 3 or 5 tall PNG explainer infographics of 1024 x 1536 pixels for a help centre, a blog post or a product page. Each is a finished picture, not an editable file.
  • Stage-by-stage diagramHow it works, top to bottom with arrows
  • Plain-language labelsYour short words instead of jargon
  • Everyday comparisonOne image readers already know, if you give it
  • Simple iconsDevices, signals and parts as clear symbols
  • Your explanation onlyWe do not add or check technical details

How it works

  1. 1
ExplanationYou send the stages in plain words
  2. 2
DiagramWe plan the flow and icons and draw the explainer
  3. 3
RevisionsYou check each stage and term and ask for changes within your package

What we need from you

The technology and the title; the stages in order with a short plain-language label each, up to about 8-10 blocks; any everyday comparison you like; who the reader is, such as customers or students; your colours and the language. Avoid long technical terms unless the reader needs them.

We will ask you:

  • Which technology should it explain, and to whom?
  • What are the stages, in order?
  • Is there an everyday comparison to use?
  • Which colours and language, and where will it be used?

Questions and answers

Will the diagram be technically exact?

It is a simplified picture for beginners: parts are drawn as icons and proportions are not to scale. For an engineering drawing or a precise schematic, this service is not the right fit.

Do you check whether my explanation is correct?

No, we draw your stages and labels as written and do not review the technology. Ask a colleague who knows the subject to read it before you publish.

Can I use it in a printed manual?

Small prints up to A4 work well. The picture is a 1024 x 1536 PNG, not a print-ready file with bleed, CMYK or vector.
