How-to guide

The five-step guide

File: PNG, 1024x1536. Text and numbers come only from the client's brief; the client checks them before using the picture.

Client: a small business association and a coffee shop. Task: an infographic of survey results with the four figures they sent, and a five-step brewing guide for the counter and Pinterest.

The client and all details are made up.

About this service

A product roadmap infographic shows customers, investors or your team what is coming: themes or features grouped by quarter, month or simple Now, Next and Later columns, with status markers such as released, in progress and planned. We lay out your items down the tall picture in time order with small icons and colour-coded status, so a reader sees the direction without reading a long list. Dates and feature names appear exactly as you write them in the 1024 x 1536 picture, so check them, and consider a short note that plans may change; Latin-script languages work best.

What is included

  • What you getYou get 1, 3 or 5 tall PNG roadmap infographics of 1024 x 1536 pixels for an update post, an investor deck or a public roadmap page. Each is a finished picture, not an editable file.
  • Time columnsQuarters, months or Now, Next and Later
  • Status markersReleased, in progress and planned in clear colours
  • Feature blocksA few words and an icon for each item
  • Progress viewAn illustrative bar of how much is done, if you send a %
  • Change noteA short line that plans can change, if you want it

How it works

  1. 1
ItemsYou send the items, periods and status
  2. 2
RoadmapWe place the items in time order and draw the infographic
  3. 3
RevisionsYou check names and dates and ask for changes within your package

What we need from you

The product name and the period; each item in a few words with its quarter, month or Now, Next or Later column, up to about 8-10 items; the status of each; any note to print, such as "Plans may change"; your colours and the language.

We will ask you:

  • Which product and period does it cover?
  • Which items should it show, and when?
  • What is the status of each item?
  • Who will see it, and in which colours?

Payment protection

You pay when you order, but the money is released only for accepted work.

  • Fixed priceThe package price does not change after you pay.
  • The money is reservedWhen you pay, the amount is only reserved. It is released to the service once you accept the work.
  • Checked before deliveryEvery result goes through a quality check before it reaches you, and you see it on the order page before accepting it.
  • Free revisionsAsk for changes within your brief as many times as the package allows.
  • Acceptance after 3 daysIf within 3 days of delivery you neither accept the work nor ask for changes, it is accepted automatically. If you write in the order chat after delivery, the order waits; once we answer, we may start the 3 days again and will say so in the chat.
  • Redo or a full refundIf the result does not match your brief and the revisions did not fix it, or the work takes more than twice its deadline, write in the order chat: we will redo the work or refund the payment in full.

Questions and answers

Our roadmap changes every month. How do updates work?

Ask for changes as revisions within your package; after that, a new order can make an updated version in the same style if you describe the earlier one. Keeping dates broad, such as quarters, means fewer updates.

Can it look like our internal planning board?

We draw a clean roadmap picture from your brief, not a copy of a Jira, Trello or Notion board, and we draw no logos of those tools.

Can I print it for a team wall?

At A4 or smaller, yes. It is a 1024 x 1536 PNG, not a print-ready file, and too small for a large wall poster.
