About this service
The search terms report shows what people really typed before clicking your Google Ads, and it is where both wasted spend and new keyword ideas hide. Paste the report rows with search term, match type, clicks, cost and conversions, and we sort every term into keep, add as a keyword, add as a negative or watch, choose the match type and level for each negative and group new keywords by ad group. You apply the changes in your account yourself; we never log in to it.
What is included
- What you getA table of every search term with its decision and reason, a negative keyword list with match types and campaign or ad group level, new keywords grouped by ad group and an estimate of spend on irrelevant terms in the period, on the order page and as an Excel file.
- Decision per termKeep, add, negative or watch
- Negatives with match typeExact, phrase or broad
- Right levelAccount list, campaign or ad group
- New keywords groupedReady to add
- Wasted spend estimateFrom your own report

What we need from you
The search terms report rows for a recent period with search term, campaign, ad group, match type, clicks, cost and conversions, pasted into the brief as text, plus what you sell and terms you never want to show for.
We will ask you:
- Can you paste the search terms report rows?
- What do you sell, and what do you not sell?
- Which period does the report cover?
- Do you already have a negative keyword list?

Questions and answers
Do you need access to my Google Ads account?
No. You download the report and paste the rows. We never log in, and you apply the changes yourself.
Will adding negatives cut my conversions?
We do not add terms that converted in your report as negatives, and borderline terms go to the watch list instead.
How often should I do this?
For most accounts, monthly or after any big change in match types or budgets.
