Food blog website "Slow Kitchen"
Client: Anna Berg, who writes simple home recipes and wanted her own blog instead of posts scattered across social networks. Task: a calm blog in warm white and olive with serif headings: a home page, 3 articles from her notes (pantry staples, Sunday lunch prep, one-pan lemon chicken) and an About page with her email and Instagram.
The client and all details are made up.
About this service
A travel blog you put on your own hosting, made for stories people read before they go. Each trip article has your route, a box with the facts of the trip such as the dates, how you got there and what it cost you, headings for each stop, a cover picture of the place, related trips and links to your social profiles. Send us your stories and notes, or the trips to write about, and we write the articles (about 600 words each), draw the pictures and build the site in plain HTML and CSS. We write only what you tell us: no prices, visa rules, opening hours or tips from elsewhere, since they change and we have not been there. It is a static site, with no admin panel, comments, interactive map, search or booking forms. Hosting, the domain and putting it online are on your side.

Questions and answers
Can I show my own travel photos?
Yes: send up to 5 of your photos with the order and say where each goes. The other picture slots get pictures drawn for the blog, and you can swap your own photos in later by replacing the files, as the guide shows.
Will you add prices, visa rules or opening hours?
Only the ones you give, with the date you checked them if you like. We do not look them up or add them from elsewhere, since they change often.
Can I add booking or affiliate links?
Yes: give the links and where they should go, and we put them in as plain links with your disclosure. There is no booking form on the site itself, and the terms of those programmes are on your side.
Can there be a map of my route?
One of the package pictures can be a drawn route from the stops you list, and a link can lead to the route on the map service you use. A live, zoomable map is not included.
How do I add new trips later?
Copy a trip page, change the text, facts box and picture in any code editor and link it from the home page; the guide shows each step. Your developer can also move the design to a blogging platform if you post often.
