About this service
Onboarding is the first minute in your app: usually three to five swipeable screens, each with one picture, a short headline and a line of text, progress dots, a Skip link and a last button to sign up or start, sometimes with a screen that explains why you ask for notifications or location before the system prompt appears. Upload a screenshot of your existing app, or of your website if the app is new, and we draw the onboarding screens in its colours, fonts, icon style and buttons, with your headlines from the brief. You get PNG mock-ups of about 1.5 megapixels, each made from one of your screenshots and always upright 2:3, about 1024 x 1536 pixels, whatever the shape of your upload, so even a wide desktop screenshot becomes a phone screen; they are pictures, not app code or a Figma, Sketch or XD file.
What is included
- What you getYou get 1, 3 or 5 upright PNG onboarding screens, such as the welcome screen, the benefit screens and the final sign-up screen. If you send fewer screenshots than the package has, the extra screens are made from the same file.
- Welcome screensThree to five screens with one idea each
- Progress and SkipDots or a bar, a Skip link and a clear last button
- Permission explainerA screen saying why you ask, shown before the system prompt
- Sign-up or startThe final screen with your account or start buttons
- Pictures in your styleSimple scenes in your app's colours for each step
How it works
- 1Screenshot and stepsYou upload your app and write a headline for each screen
- 2Onboarding screensWe draw the swipeable screens in your app's style
- 3Check and reviseYou check the wording and ask for changes within your package
What we need from you
Up to 5 sharp screenshots of your app or site as PNG, JPEG or WebP (no PDF), one screen each, and only files you have the right to use; a sample from another app guides only the style. For each onboarding screen give one headline, one short line and the button label, and describe the picture in a few words; Latin-script languages draw most cleanly, and small text can come out imperfect.
We will ask you:
- What should each onboarding screen say?
- What should the pictures show?
- Which permission, if any, needs an explainer?
- What happens on the last screen?

Questions and answers
Can you draw the system permission pop-up?
We draw your own explainer screen that comes before it. The real permission dialog belongs to iOS or Android, its look and wording are set by the system, and your developer shows it after your screen.
How many onboarding screens should there be?
Three to five is common: fewer is easier to finish, and each screen should carry one benefit in a short headline. The Premium package covers a full five-screen flow; with fewer uploads than mock-ups, the extra screens come from the same screenshot.
Do I get files for my developer?
You get PNG pictures to build from, not Swift, Kotlin or other app code and not a Figma, Sketch or XD file. Your developer recreates the screens in the app and adds the real texts and animations; text in the picture is short, and you check the spelling.
Can I use another app's onboarding as a sample?
Yes, only for its style: layout, mood and colours. We never take its logo, brand, texts or characters, put no other brands' logos on your screens, add no ratings or reviews and never change documents. The picture is redrawn, so your logo and small icons can shift slightly.
