About this service

We write an ad for your concert, festival, club night, show or tour date and voice it in an energetic synthesized voice. Event ads on the radio rest on a few facts said with excitement: the artists, the date, the venue and where to get tickets, with the date repeated, because that is what people forget first. We read artist names, the line-up and ticket prices exactly as you give them, and we never imitate an artist's voice or use their recordings, so the track is voice only and you can lay music you are allowed to use under it.

What is included

  • What you getOne event ad of about 20, 40 or 60 seconds: the script and its MP3 voiced in a synthesized voice; Standard and Premium add a WAV. It is a voice track without the artists' music, and you must tell listeners the voice is synthesized.
  • Date said twiceThe date and venue repeated so people remember
  • Names read rightArtist and venue names pronounced as you write them out
  • Ticket call to actionWhere to buy and when prices go up
  • Energy to matchUpbeat for a club night, warmer for a classical evening
  • Room for the musicA clean voice track ready to lay over a song you have rights to

What we need from you

The event name, the artists or line-up as they should be pronounced, the date, time and venue, ticket prices and where to buy (website or box office as it should be read), any age limits or price rise dates, where the ad will play and the energy of the voice.

We will ask you:

  • Who is performing, and how are the names pronounced?
  • When and where is the event?
  • Where are tickets sold, and for how much?
  • Where will the ad play?

Questions and answers

Can the ad use a song by the artist?

We don't add music, and we never imitate the artist's voice. If you have the rights to a track, you or the station can mix it under our voice.

Can you add crowd noise?

No, the file has no sound effects. Crowd noise and music can be added in an audio editor.

Can the ad mention an age limit or other terms?

Yes, put them in the brief and we read them as written. Venues and stations may require such terms, so ask them first.

Do I have to disclose the synthesized voice?

Yes. You must tell listeners the ad uses a synthesized voice when it airs, and you submit the file to the station or platform yourself.
