About this service
We write and voice the message callers hear while they wait for a free line: thanks for holding, a reassurance that the call matters and something useful to do meanwhile, such as a web address or a faster channel. Hold messages often play on a loop, so the script avoids promises about waiting times and phrases that grate when heard three times in a row. The voice is synthesized, and you must tell callers that.
What is included
- What you getOne hold message per order: an MP3 in a synthesized voice of about 20, 40 or 60 seconds, plus a WAV from Standard. Voice only, without hold music or sound effects; your phone system plays it between music or on repeat.
- Calm thanks for waitingPolite without sounding like a script read for the hundredth time
- Useful while waitingA web address, a help page or another way to get an answer
- Easy on repeatNo countdowns or wording that annoys on the third loop
- No promises on timeWe don't state waiting times a recording can't know
- Your channels onlyWebsites, emails and chat links exactly as in your brief
How it works
- 1BriefYou tell us where callers can get help while waiting
- 2Script and voiceWe write a message that holds up on a loop and voice it
- 3Check and loadYou ask for changes within your package and load it into your phone system
What we need from you
Your company name, what callers should know or do while they wait (a website, an app, an email or a chat), whether to mention a callback, the tone and the language.
We will ask you:
- What should callers do while they wait?
- Do you offer a callback?
- What tone suits your callers?

Questions and answers
Can you mix it with hold music?
No, you get the voice only. Many phone systems can play music and the message in turn, so set that up in your system.
Can it say how long the wait is?
A fixed recording can't know the real queue, so we don't state waiting times. If your phone system announces the caller's place in the queue, it does that on its own.
Will you upload it to our phone line?
No, we deliver the file, and you load it into your phone system or send it to your provider.
Can it sound like our own support team?
No, we don't imitate the voices of real people, your staff included. You choose a synthesized voice by style, such as warm and calm.
