About this service

A loan calculator shows a visitor what a payment could be for the amount and term they have in mind. Give us the formula, such as annuity or equal principal parts, the rates or the rule for them, the limits on amount and term, the fees to include and the note that must appear under the result, and we build one block for your site: the texts, pictures drawn for it and the code. It counts at once in the browser, then offers to call or message you. It only does the arithmetic your rules set: it is not financial advice, an offer or an approval, and it does not check credit or save or send what visitors enter. We never choose rates.

What we need from you

The formula and one or two worked examples to check it by (an amount, term and rate with the payment you expect), the rates or how they depend on the term or the down payment, the limits, the fees to include, the currency and rounding, the note to show under the result and any wording your law or regulator requires; where the buttons lead; your site's colours. Optionally up to 5 pictures as PNG, JPEG or WebP: your logo or pictures that you have the right to use.

Questions and answers

Does the calculator give financial advice?

No. It shows what your formula gives for the numbers the visitor enters. It is not advice, an offer or an approval: the real terms depend on the lender's decision, and the formulas and their use on your site are your responsibility.

Which rate will it use?

Only the rates you give, or a rate the visitor types in, if you want that field. We never pick or look up rates.

Can it show the total to pay and the interest?

Yes, if you give the rule for them. Every figure on the result screen comes from your formula, rounded the way you say.

How do we make sure the figures are right?

Send one or two worked examples with the payment you expect. We check the block against them, and you try it on the order page before you download.

Will it collect loan applications?

No. The block does not save or send anything visitors enter. After the result it offers buttons to call or message you; applications stay with the process you already have.
