Store description
Bake your first real sourdough loaf this weekend — no special equipment needed.
Slow Rise walks you from a jar of flour and water to a crackling, open-crumb loaf in six short chapters. You will learn how to start and keep a starter alive, read the dough instead of the clock, and fix the five most common problems: flat loaves, gummy crumb, pale crust, sour overload and a sleepy starter.
Inside: a printable weekend baking schedule, troubleshooting tables and plain advice from a baker who learned it all in a small home kitchen.

About this service
Each author of an anthology sends a file with their own fonts, quotation marks, scene breaks and heading habits, and the book has to read as one. Merge the stories into one or two Word files or PDFs with selectable text, and we lay them out as an EPUB in one consistent style: each story with its title and author byline, the contents listing both, an editor's introduction and contributor bios at the back. Differences in punctuation, such as straight and curly quotes or dash styles, are brought into one style without changing the wording.
What is included
- What you getThe anthology as an EPUB for stores, a PDF and a clean Word file, with title, copyright, contents by story and author, an introduction and contributor bios. From Standard, a store description for the anthology.

- Story and authorByline under each title
- Contents by authorClickable, stories and names
- Introduction and biosEditor's note and contributors

How it works
- 1StoriesYou upload the merged files and order
- 2LayoutWe bring every story into one style
- 3DeliveryYou get EPUB, PDF and Word
What we need from you
The stories merged into up to 2 Word files or PDFs with selectable text, the order of stories, each author's name as it should appear, the introduction and bios, the copyright line for each story if they differ, and confirmation that all authors agreed to publication.
We will ask you:
- How many stories and authors are in the anthology?
- In what order should the stories appear?
- Which quote and dash style should the book use?
- Does each story need its own copyright line?

Questions and answers
Can you take each author's file separately?
Up to 2 files can be uploaded, so merge the stories into one or two Word files first, with each story starting on a new heading.
Will you edit the stories?
No. We align the formatting and punctuation style, not the wording. Typos are fixed only in Premium and only if you ask, with a list of every fix.
Will the stores accept my book?
We follow the common store requirements for EPUB files, but approval is up to each store. You upload the book yourself.
