Store description
Bake your first real sourdough loaf this weekend — no special equipment needed.
Slow Rise walks you from a jar of flour and water to a crackling, open-crumb loaf in six short chapters. You will learn how to start and keep a starter alive, read the dough instead of the clock, and fix the five most common problems: flat loaves, gummy crumb, pale crust, sour overload and a sleepy starter.
Inside: a printable weekend baking schedule, troubleshooting tables and plain advice from a baker who learned it all in a small home kitchen.

About this service
In a poetry e-book, the line breaks and the space between stanzas are part of the poem, and the usual e-book formatting that runs lines together into paragraphs ruins it. Send your collection as a Word file or a PDF with selectable text, and we lay it out as an EPUB where every line break and stanza gap is kept, each poem starts with its title, and the clickable contents lists every poem, grouped by section if you have them. Shaped or concrete poems that depend on exact positions on the page cannot be kept on e-readers, so we flag them for you.
What is included
- What you getYour collection as an EPUB file for stores, the same text as a PDF and a clean Word file, with title, copyright, dedication and about-the-author pages. From Standard, a store description for the collection.

What we need from you
The collection as Word or a PDF with selectable text (up to 2 files), the title, author name, year, dedication and about-the-author text, the order of poems and sections, and which poems use unusual spacing or indents.
We will ask you:
- Is the collection divided into sections?
- Which poems use indents or unusual spacing?
- Should untitled poems be listed by their first line?
- Which stores will you upload the book to?

Questions and answers
Will indents look the same on every e-reader?
Simple indents are kept, but readers let people change font size, so long lines may wrap. We mark wrapped lines with a hanging indent so they still read as one line.
Will the stores accept my book?
We follow the common store requirements for EPUB files, but approval is up to each store. You upload the book yourself.
Will you change my text?
No, we keep it word for word. Typos are fixed only in Premium and only if you ask, with a list of every fix.
