Store description
Bake your first real sourdough loaf this weekend — no special equipment needed.
Slow Rise walks you from a jar of flour and water to a crackling, open-crumb loaf in six short chapters. You will learn how to start and keep a starter alive, read the dough instead of the clock, and fix the five most common problems: flat loaves, gummy crumb, pale crust, sour overload and a sleepy starter.
Inside: a printable weekend baking schedule, troubleshooting tables and plain advice from a baker who learned it all in a small home kitchen.

About this service
Send your finished manuscript as a Word file or a PDF with selectable text, along with the title, author name and the front matter you want. We lay it out as an EPUB with chapters, a clickable table of contents, title, copyright and dedication pages, consistent headings and scene breaks, keeping your text word for word. You upload the book to Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo or Google Play Books yourself, and covers and illustrations are not placed inside the file.

Questions and answers
Will Kindle and other stores accept my book?
We follow the common store requirements for EPUB files, but approval is up to each store and we cannot promise it. You upload the book yourself.
Can you add my cover and illustrations?
No, the book file contains text only. Stores let you upload the cover separately when you publish.
My novel is longer than 24,000 words. Can you take it?
Not in this service: 24,000 words is the limit for one order. For Chinese, Japanese, Thai and similar languages the limit is lower.
Will you change my text?
No, we keep it word for word. Typos are fixed only in Premium and only if you ask, with a list of every fix.
Can I ask for changes?
Yes, within the revisions of your package.
