About this service
A blog website you put on your own hosting: a home page with your latest posts, article pages, an About page and, in larger packages, a category page and a contacts page. Every article page is laid out for reading: a clear title, the date and author you give, headings, pictures, a block of related posts and links to your social profiles. Send us your topic and your articles, or tell us what to write about, and we write the articles (about 600 words each), draw pictures for them and build the site in plain HTML and CSS: fast, readable on phones and with page titles and descriptions for search engines. It is a static site: there is no admin panel or editor to publish posts, no comments, no search and no subscription form that sends anything. To add a post later, a copy of an article page is edited in any code editor, as the guide explains, or the design can be moved to a blogging platform by your developer. You get an archive with every page, the styles and the pictures. Hosting, the domain and putting the site online are on your side.

What we need from you
The name and topic of the blog and who it is for. Your articles as text or documents, or the subjects to write about and anything each article must say. The author's name and a few lines about them for the About page, your contacts and links to your social profiles, exactly as they should appear. Your colours and style, or blogs you like. Optionally up to 5 pictures as PNG, JPEG or WebP: your logo or your own photos, which you have the right to use.

Questions and answers
How do I add new posts later?
Copy an article page, change its title, text and picture in any code editor and add a link to it on the home page; the guide in the archive shows how, step by step. If you want to publish posts without code, your developer can move the design to a blogging platform such as WordPress or Ghost.
Will you write the articles?
Yes, if you want: give the subjects and what each article must say, and we write them, about 600 words each. We use only the facts you give and never make up figures, quotes, reviews or experience. You can also send your own texts, and we lay them out.
Is there a subscription form or comments?
No: a static site does not send or store anything. A subscribe button can lead to your mailing service's own sign-up page, and posts can link to your social profiles for discussion.
Can it be found in search engines?
The pages have titles, descriptions and headings in order, and they load fast, which search engines like. Rankings depend on your content and on how long the blog has been online, so we cannot promise positions.
Do you put the blog online?
No. You get the archive and upload it to your hosting; the guide explains how. Hosting and the domain are paid and set up on your side.
