Post 1 — Tip

Your plant isn't sulking. It's cramped.

3 signs it's time for a bigger pot:

  1. Roots peeking out of the drainage hole
  2. Water runs straight through without soaking in
  3. New leaves are smaller than the old ones

Spotted one of these? Bring your plant to our repotting bar. We'll pick the pot, you get your hands dirty. 🌱

Post 3 — Story

Meet Gus. He's 11 years old and has survived two moves, one cat and a very bad winter.

Gus was the first plant we ever sold — and the customer gave him back when she moved abroad. He lives by our counter now, a bit lopsided and very proud. Every big leaf on him is a year of someone remembering to water.

What's the oldest plant in your home? Tell us its name below.

Post 5 — Tip

Most houseplants die in winter from too much love.

Less light means slower growth, and slower growth means less water. Before you water, push a finger 2 cm into the soil. Dry? Water. Damp? Walk away.

Save this post for the next cold snap.

Repotting workshop this Saturday, 11 am.

Bring one plant (or buy one here), we bring soil, pots and coffee. In 60 minutes you'll learn how to choose the right mix and not hurt the roots. 8 seats, $25 including the pot.

Reply "SEAT" in our messages to book.

Client: Leaf & Loam, a small plant shop with a repotting bar. Platform: Instagram. Voice: friendly, a little nerdy about plants, never preachy. Set: 12 posts for one month. Below: the plan and 4 posts in full.

The client and all details are made up.

About this service

A blog and a newsletter work best when they feed each other: a post goes out, the newsletter picks it up, and seasonal topics land before readers search for them, not after. We build an editorial calendar for both: dates, working titles, the search or reader question each piece answers, the newsletter issue it goes into and who it is for. From Standard each topic comes with a short outline, so writing can start right away.

What is included

  • What you getA calendar table as text (date, channel, working title, reader question, audience, newsletter issue) for the period of your package, with short outlines from Standard. You get it on the order page, ready to copy into your planner.
  • Blog and newsletter in syncEach post mapped to an issue
  • Seasonal timingTopics planned ahead of demand
  • Reader questionsWhat each piece answers
  • Mix of formatsGuides, lists, cases, news
  • OutlinesFrom Standard: 3 to 5 points per topic

What we need from you

What your blog and newsletter are about, who reads them, how often you publish each, key dates and launches, and ideally a link to the blog so we avoid repeating topics.

We will ask you:

  • What are the blog and newsletter about?
  • How often do you publish each?
  • Which dates, launches or events must the calendar include?
  • Which topics have you already covered?
