About this service
Profile and page covers are very wide strips: the LinkedIn personal background is 1584 x 396 pixels (4:1), and Facebook shows its cover at roughly 820 x 312 on desktop while cropping the sides on phones. We extend your office, team or landscape photo sideways with recreated space so it fills the strip without cutting off heads, and keep the subject away from the corner where your profile picture overlaps it. Calm space can be left for your slogan or contact details, which you add yourself.
What is included
- What you getYour photos refitted to a wide cover proportion as PNG files of about 1.5 megapixels, one per format in your package, ready to upload or crop to the exact pixels. Each picture is made from one of your photos.
- Wide strip formats4:1 for LinkedIn, about 2.7:1 for Facebook
- Clear of your avatarNothing important where the profile picture overlaps
- Safe on phonesSubject near the centre so side crops do no harm
- Space for a sloganA calm area for your tagline or website
- One look on both networksThe same photo refitted for each cover
How it works
- 1UploadYou upload photos and list the covers you need
- 2Wide refitWe extend each photo to the cover proportion
- 3PNG and revisionsYou download the covers and ask for changes within your package
What we need from you
Up to 5 photos (PNG, JPEG or WebP) you have the right to use, with the permission of colleagues shown. Tell us which covers you need (LinkedIn profile, LinkedIn company page, Facebook profile or page), where your profile picture sits and whether to keep space for text. We don't refit passport or ID photos, never change documents or receipts, and don't work with nudity or face swaps.
We will ask you:
- Which covers do you need?
- What is in the photo?
- Should we leave space for a slogan?

Questions and answers
Why does my cover look different on a phone?
Facebook and LinkedIn crop covers differently on desktop and mobile, usually cutting the sides on phones. That is why we keep the subject and your text space near the centre.
Will you add our logo and slogan?
No, the covers come without text or logos. Leave us a note where they will go and add them in any design tool before uploading.
Is a group photo of the team suitable?
Yes, wide covers suit team photos well, as long as everyone agreed to appear. With many people, faces are small, so details may shift slightly when the picture is redrawn.
Is about 1.5 megapixels enough for a cover?
For a 4:1 strip that is close to the 1584 pixel width LinkedIn asks for, and Facebook needs less. Resize the PNG to the exact pixels in any editor if the upload asks for it.
