About this service
Stories and Reels fill a phone screen in 9:16, so a horizontal or square photo either gets cropped or floats in empty bars. We extend the photo upward and downward with more sky, floor, wall or table so the subject stays whole and centred in the full vertical frame. Profile name, buttons and captions cover the top and bottom of the screen, so we keep faces and products in the middle and can leave calm space for your sticker or text.
What is included
- What you getYour photos refitted to 9:16 as PNG files of about 1.5 megapixels, one per format in your package, ready to upload as a story, a Reels cover or a vertical ad. Each picture is made from one of your photos, with the extended areas matching its light.
- Full-screen 9:16No black bars and no cut-off heads
- Safe zones respectedKey content kept clear of the top and bottom bars
- Room for stickersCalm sky or wall left for a poll, link or caption
- Works for Reels coversSubject centred so the grid preview still reads
- Matching lightNew areas continue the colours and shadows of the photo
How it works
- 1UploadYou upload photos and say which are stories or covers
- 2Vertical refitWe extend each photo to the full 9:16 frame
- 3PNG and revisionsYou download the pictures and ask for changes within your package
What we need from you
Up to 5 photos (PNG, JPEG or WebP) that you have the right to use, with the permission of the people in them. Tell us which photo goes where (story, Reels cover, TikTok or Shorts), where the subject should sit and whether to keep space for a sticker, poll or headline. We don't refit passport or ID photos, never change documents or receipts, and don't work with nudity or face swaps.
We will ask you:
- What will the vertical photos be used for?
- Where should the subject sit?
- Should we leave room for a sticker or text?

Questions and answers
Why not just crop my photo to 9:16?
Cropping a horizontal photo to 9:16 keeps only a narrow strip and usually cuts off people or the product. Extending keeps the whole scene and adds believable space above and below it.
Which parts of the screen are covered?
The profile name and progress bar sit at the top, and the reply bar, captions and buttons at the bottom and right edge. We keep faces and products away from those areas.
Is the size enough for a story?
Phones show about 1.5 megapixels in 9:16 cleanly, and the platform scales it to the screen. If an ad manager asks for exact pixels, resize the PNG keeping the proportion.
Will people in the photo change?
The picture is redrawn, so faces stay recognizable but small details and any text in the photo can shift slightly. We never make ID photos or change documents, and the new sky or floor is recreated, not real.
