About this service
Pinterest favours tall pins in 2:3, such as 1000 x 1500 pixels, and pins much taller than that can be cut off in the feed. Recipe, decor, fashion and product photos are often horizontal, so we extend them upward and downward with more tabletop, wall, floor or sky until they fill the pin. We can keep a calm band at the top or bottom for the title overlay you add, which is how most pins get saved.
What is included
- What you getYour photos refitted to 2:3 as PNG files of about 1.5 megapixels, one per format in your package, ready to add a title and pin. Each picture is made from one of your photos, with the new areas matching its light.
- Tall 2:3 pinsThe shape Pinterest shows best in the feed
- Title bandCalm space at the top or bottom for your overlay
- Recipes and decorTabletops, kitchens and rooms extended naturally
- Several pins per postDifferent photos of one blog post to test
- Matching lightNew areas follow the colours and shadows of the photo
How it works
- 1UploadYou upload photos and tell us where the title goes
- 2Pin refitWe extend each photo to a tall 2:3 pin
- 3PNG and revisionsYou download the pins and ask for changes within your package
What we need from you
Up to 5 photos (PNG, JPEG or WebP) you have the right to use, with the permission of the people in them. Tell us the topic of the pins, where the title band goes and which photo should become which pin. We don't refit passport or ID photos, never change documents or receipts, and don't work with nudity or face swaps.
We will ask you:
- What are the pins about?
- Where will your title go?
- Which photo becomes which pin?

Questions and answers
Will you add the title and my website on the pin?
No, the pins come without text, and you add the title and site name in your design tool. That lets you make several title variants from one picture.
Can I get even taller pins?
We can make another proportion if you ask, but pins taller than 2:3 may be cut off in the feed. For most pins 2:3 is the safe choice.
Will the food or product look different?
The main subject stays as in your photo, though small details and any label text can shift slightly when the picture is redrawn. Check product labels before pinning.
Is the extended tabletop part of my real kitchen?
No, it is recreated to continue your photo. For decor and recipe pins that is usually fine, but keep the main photo in your post honest if you sell what is shown.
