About this service
Sweaters, cardigans and knitted dresses stretch on a hanger and look shapeless on a bed, while buyers want to see the stitch pattern, the thickness of the yarn and the cuffs. Send a photo of your knitwear, and we lay it out smoothed and in shape, flat with the sleeves spread or neatly folded, on a cosy background such as light wood, linen or a wool blanket, with props like a mug or pine cones if you like. Each picture is made from one of your photos as a PNG of about 1.5 megapixels for listings and social media, not for large prints; it is redrawn, so the stitch pattern, buttons and small labels can change slightly.

What we need from you
Up to 5 photos as PNG, JPEG or WebP, one item per photo, laid out as flat as you can, in daylight so the stitch shows. Tell us flat or folded, the background, the props and the true colour of the yarn, since knit colours often look different in photos. Send only photos you have the right to use, with the permission of anyone shown in them.
We will ask you:

Questions and answers
Will the stitch pattern look exactly the same?
Its type, colours and scale are kept, but the stitches are redrawn, so a complex fair isle or lace pattern can differ slightly in small places. Compare with the item and ask for a revision.
Can you correct the colour if my photo is too yellow?
Yes, tell us the true colour and we match it instead of the warm indoor light, so the buyer gets the shade they see. We do not change the item to another colour.
Can you hide pilling on a pre-owned sweater?
No, we never hide pilling, holes or stretched cuffs that the buyer will get, and we never add features the item does not have. We also never make ID or document photos or change documents and receipts, show no nudity, never put in a celebrity or another real person, and always give the picture a full background, so a cut-out file without one is not available.
