About this service
When you need a good photo of a loved one for a memorial card, an order of service or a stand at the farewell, the best picture is often old, creased or faded. We clean it, even out the light and tones and gently fix small damage, keeping the face and expression as they were, and the basic package is ready in a day. Each picture is made from one of your photos as a PNG of about 1.5 megapixels, which suits a card, a slideshow at the service or a small framed print, not a large poster.
What is included
- What you getYou get 1, 3 or 5 restored portraits as PNG files of about 1.5 megapixels, one per photo in your package, ready to place into the card or booklet layout. There is no name, date or verse added; you put the text in your layout.

How it works
- 1Your photoYou upload the photo and tell us where it will be used
- 2Gentle repairWe clean the damage and keep the face as it was
- 3DeliveryYou get the PNG and can ask for changes within your package
What we need from you
Up to 5 photos as PNG, JPEG or WebP; a straight phone photo of the print is enough when time is short. Tell us what to fix, whether the photo should stay black and white or be in colour, and the size of the card or frame it will go into.
We will ask you:
- What will the photo be used for?
- What should we fix?
- Black and white or colour?
- Is there anything we must keep exactly?

Questions and answers
Can you remove other people from the photo?
Restoration keeps the photo as it is, so other people stay in it. If the person you need is in a group, send a crop of just them; the less of the face is cut off, the better the result.
Is the size enough for a memorial card?
Yes. About 1.5 megapixels, such as 1000 x 1500 pixels, prints well at card and small frame sizes; it is not meant for a large poster on an easel.
Will the face change?
We keep the expression and features, but the picture is redrawn, so small details such as glasses, earrings or a hairline can differ slightly. Please look closely before printing and ask for a revision if needed.
Are there limits on what you do?
We don't make document photos and don't change death certificates or other papers. We don't put another face or anyone else into the photo, add no nudity, and work with photos the family has the right to use. If part of the face is lost, it is recreated to fit, not restored exactly.
