6. Termination

6.1 Either party may end this Agreement with [7] days' written notice. 6.2 The Client pays for work completed up to the termination date; the deposit is non-refundable once design work has begun.

Review checklist before signing

  • Appendix A lists every page and feature you agreed on by email.
  • The deposit percentage and late-payment terms match how you actually work.
  • The liability cap and termination terms are acceptable under the law of [COUNTRY/STATE]; a local lawyer can confirm this.
  • Hosting and domain: decide who pays and add a clause if you manage them.
  • Both parties' legal names are written exactly as registered.

This is a template to adapt to your business, not legal advice.

Client: Lena Park, a freelance web designer trading as Park Studio Design. Template for one-off website projects. Fields in [BRACKETS] are filled in for each new client.

The client and all details are made up.

About this service

Blogs that recommend products, share health tips or talk about money need a disclaimer page that readers and partner programs can find. We write one for your site: that content is general information, that you earn commissions from affiliate links, how sponsored posts are marked, and, where relevant, that nothing on the site is medical, financial or legal advice. You also get one-line versions for the top of posts and the site footer.

What is included

  • What you getA disclaimer page plus short lines for posts and the footer, as text ready to paste, with a checklist. It is a template, not legal advice: have a lawyer check it for your country.
  • Affiliate disclosureIncluding Amazon Associates wording
  • Topic disclaimersHealth, money or legal content
  • Sponsored postsHow they are labeled
  • Short linesFor post tops and the footer

What we need from you

Your site topic, the affiliate programs you use, whether you publish sponsored posts, and whether you write about health, finance or law.

We will ask you:

  • What is your site about?
  • Which affiliate programs do you use?
  • Do you publish sponsored or gifted reviews?

  • Fixed priceThe package price does not change after you pay.
  • The money is reservedWhen you pay, the amount is only reserved. It is released to the service once you accept the work.
  • Checked before deliveryEvery result goes through a quality check before it reaches you, and you see it on the order page before accepting it.
  • Free revisionsAsk for changes within your brief as many times as the package allows.
  • Acceptance after 3 daysIf within 3 days of delivery you neither accept the work nor ask for changes, it is accepted automatically. If you write in the order chat after delivery, the order waits; once we answer, we may start the 3 days again and will say so in the chat.
  • Redo or a full refundIf the result does not match your brief and the revisions did not fix it, or the work takes more than twice its deadline, write in the order chat: we will redo the work or refund the payment in full.

Questions and answers

Is a disclaimer page enough for affiliate links?

Usually not: rules like the US FTC guidance expect a clear note near the links too. That is why you also get a short line for posts.

Does Amazon need special wording?

Yes, Amazon Associates asks for a specific statement. We include it if you are in the program.

Will a disclaimer protect me from all claims?

No. It sets expectations and meets disclosure rules, but it does not cover false or harmful content.
