About this service
An accessibility statement tells visitors how accessible your site is, which standard you aim for (usually WCAG 2.1 or 2.2 level AA), which parts are known not to work yet and how to ask for help or an alternative format. We write it from what you tell us about your site and the checks you have done, in plain language and with a clear feedback contact. Public bodies in the EU and UK and many companies serving EU customers are expected to publish one.
What is included
- What you getA filled-in accessibility statement page with conformance status, known limitations, feedback contact and review date, as text and as a .docx file, plus a checklist; it describes your site but does not test or certify it. It is a template, not legal advice: have a lawyer in your country check it before use.
- Conformance statusFull, partial or not yet, stated honestly
- Known limitationsWhat does not work yet and the plan
- Feedback routeHow visitors report problems
- Alternative formatsHow to request them
- Review dateWhen the statement is updated

What we need from you
Your organisation and site, the standard you aim for, the results of any accessibility check you ran (an audit report can be attached as PDF or Word), the parts you know are not accessible and a contact for requests.
We will ask you:
- Which standard do you aim for?
- Have you tested the site? How?
- Which parts do you know are not accessible?
- Where are your organisation and your users?

Questions and answers
Is this legal advice?
No. It is a template based on your information. Accessibility laws differ by country, so have a lawyer or accessibility adviser check it.
Will you test my website?
No, we do not open or test your site. The statement is based on the checks you describe, so it stays honest about what is known.
Does a statement make my site compliant?
No. It describes the current state and your plan. Compliance depends on the site itself.
