About this service
YouTube builds chapters from the timestamps you list in the description, starting at 0:00, but finding where each topic begins in a long video means scrubbing through it again. We transcribe your video from a link and give you the text with the time of every line, so you can search it for each new topic, copy the start times and write your chapter list in minutes. The plain transcript can also go into the description or a blog post.

Questions and answers
Do you write the chapter list for me?
No. You get the timed transcript; with it, picking start points and naming chapters takes a few minutes.
What format do YouTube chapters need?
A list in the description that starts at 0:00, with at least 3 timestamps in order and each chapter at least 10 seconds long.
Does the video have to be public?
No. Unlisted works, or a file in cloud storage that opens by link. Private videos cannot be opened.
