Landing page
Make your first bowl this weekend
Two days at the pottery wheel in a group of six. You go home with at least three pieces you made yourself, glazed and fired.
[Button] Choose your weekend: $240
What happens over two days
- Saturday: centring clay, opening and pulling your first walls. Most people have a cylinder by lunch.
- Sunday: trimming yesterday's pieces, adding handles and choosing glazes.
- Two weeks later: your pieces are fired twice and ready to collect.
Why six people
With six students and one teacher, nobody waits long for help. When your clay goes off-centre, someone is there to show you why.
What is included
Clay, tools, apron, glazes, two firings, tea and snacks. You only need clothes that can get dirty.
Questions people ask
I'm not artistic. Will I manage? The wheel is a skill, not a talent; the first day is all technique. What if I can't make the dates? Transfer to another weekend free of charge up to 7 days before. Can I come with a friend? Yes. Book two places together and you will share a bench.
Next weekends fill quickly

About this service
A printed sales letter has a few seconds on the kitchen table to avoid the bin, so the envelope teaser, the opening line and the postscript do most of the work, and the offer has to be easy to act on with a phone call, a short web address or a reply card. We write direct mail letters for local services, charities, subscriptions and mail-order offers in a personal, one-to-one voice, with the offer, the deadline and the response method repeated where readers look. Every claim and price comes from what you confirm.

What you offer and to whom, the price and any deadline or bonus, how readers should respond, the mailing list you will use and any proof such as reviews or years in business.
We will ask you:
- What are you offering, and at what price?
- Who will receive the letter?
- How should readers respond?
- Is there a deadline or bonus for responding?

Questions and answers
Do you print and mail the letters?
No. We write the text; your print shop or mailing house handles design, printing and postage.
Do you provide the mailing list?
No, the list comes from you or a list broker. Tell us who is on it so the letter speaks to them.
Can the letter also be sent as an email?
The text can be adapted, but long printed letters work differently on screen. An email version is a separate small order.
