About this service
Candles are hard to show well in a home photo: the wax looks grey under a kitchen lamp, the glass jar reflects the whole room and the label gets lost in the background. Send a photo of your candle, and we make a clean first photo for your Etsy listing: the candle alone on white or a light plain background, centred and large, with even light that keeps the true wax colour and a calm reflection on the jar or tin. Each PNG is made from one of your photos at about 1.5 megapixels, for Etsy and social media, not for large prints, and as the picture is redrawn, small print on the label, such as the scent notes, can change slightly.

What we need from you
Up to 5 photos as PNG, JPEG or WebP, with the candle sharp, the label facing the front and the lid on or off as buyers will see it. Tell us the wax colour, whether to show it lit, the size of the jar and the exact label text that must stay readable.
We will ask you:

- Should the candle be shown lit or unlit?

Questions and answers
Is a lit candle a good first photo?
It can be: a small flame makes a candle feel warm and real, while an unlit one shows the wax surface and colour more clearly. Many sellers use one of each, and the 3-picture package lets you try both.
Will the scent name on the label stay correct?
Large words usually stay as they are, but small print such as scent notes, weight or safety warnings can come out slightly different because the picture is redrawn. Check every word and ask for a revision where something has changed.
Can you hide frosting, tunnelling or a chipped jar?
No. The candle in the picture must be the one buyers receive, so we don't remove defects such as frosting, tunnelling, sink holes or chips, and we don't add a wooden wick, a lid or decoration it doesn't have. If you prefer a smoother look, send a photo of your best candle.
Are there photos you won't work with?
Use only photos you have the right to use, not images from candle brands or other Etsy shops. We don't make photos for IDs or documents, never change receipts or certificates, add no nudity and never put in a celebrity or another real person, and every picture comes with a full background.
