About this service
On Etsy, the handmade details are often why a buyer picks your item over a factory-made one: hand stitching, a hand-poured finish, natural materials, a maker's mark. Send a photo of your item, and we add a few short callouts pointing to those details, such as Hand-stitched edges, Full-grain leather or Hand-painted glaze, so buyers see the craft at a glance. Each PNG is made from one of your photos at about 1.5 megapixels, for Etsy and social media, not for large prints; every caption comes only from your brief, so check its spelling and make sure it is true of the item, and because the picture is redrawn, tiny stitches or texture can change slightly.

What we need from you
Up to 5 photos as PNG, JPEG or WebP, sharp enough to see the details you want to point out; a close-up works best for stitching or texture. Write each caption exactly as it should appear, say which detail it belongs to, and give the caption language and your shop colours.

Questions and answers
What can I call handmade?
That depends on Etsy's rules and on being honest with buyers, so check Etsy's current handmade policy before you write the captions. We print only what you write, so make sure every claim, such as Handmade or Hand-dyed, is true of your item.
Will the stitches in a callout look exactly like mine?
The overall look stays, but single stitches, wood pores or brush marks are tiny and can change slightly because the picture is redrawn. For the detail that matters most, send a sharp close-up and check the result.
Can you add details the item doesn't have?
No. We don't add stitching, engraving, gold leaf or materials that aren't there, and we don't hide defects. Handmade items have small irregularities, and buyers should see them as they are.
Which photos are not suitable?
Send only photos of your own work or ones you have the right to use, with the permission of anyone shown. We don't make document photos, never change certificates or receipts, add no nudity, never put in a celebrity or another real person, and the picture always has a full background.
