About this service
Knitted and crocheted items lose their stitches in a dim photo, and yarn colour is a common reason buyers say an item looked different on arrival. Send a photo of your sweater, hat, scarf, blanket or amigurumi toy, and we make a clean first photo for Etsy: the item alone on white or a light plain background, centred and whole, with soft light that keeps the stitch pattern, the fluffy halo of mohair and the true yarn colour. Each PNG is made from one of your photos at about 1.5 megapixels, for Etsy and social media, not for large prints, and because the picture is redrawn, a sewn-in label or tiny colourwork motifs can change slightly.

What we need from you
Up to 5 photos as PNG, JPEG or WebP, with the item laid flat or standing on its own, sharp enough to see the stitches and not held up by hand. Tell us the yarn and its real colour, the size, and any part that must stay exactly as it is, such as a pompom, buttons or a pattern.
We will ask you:
- What items are in the photos, and what yarn are they made of?
- What is the real colour of the yarn?
- What must stay exactly as it is?

Questions and answers
Can you show my sweater being worn?
Not in this offer: here the item is shown alone on a light background. For a worn look, order our clothing shown on a created figure, which is never a real person or a child.
Will the stitch pattern be exact?
The pattern and its overall look stay, but single stitches are tiny, so a stitch here and there can differ because the picture is redrawn. If the stitch pattern is what you sell, send a close, sharp photo and check the result.
Can you hide pilling or an uneven edge?
No. Any defects, such as pilling, a dropped stitch or an uneven edge, stay as they are, because buyers should receive what they see, and we don't change the yarn colour or add trims. We only remove what is not part of the item, such as a cluttered floor, a hanger or the sofa behind it.
What can't I send?
Send only photos you have the right to use, and ask the permission of anyone who appears in them; photos of other makers' work are not suitable. We don't make document photos, never change receipts or certificates, add no nudity, never put in a celebrity or another real person, and every picture has a full background.
