About this service

The level select map is the screen players see between every level, so it has to make progress feel like a journey: a winding path through meadows, a candy forest, an ice cave and a volcano. We draw vertical map sections for mobile games, with the path, the stops where your level buttons go and themed landmarks along the way, in the bright style of your game. Level numbers, stars and locks are left off; your game UI places them on top.

Questions and answers

Will the sections join seamlessly?

We continue the path and colours from one section to the next, but each is a separate drawing, so the seam may need a little blending in an editor.

Are the stops exactly where I need buttons?

The path has clear spots along it; your UI places buttons on them, and you can shift buttons slightly to fit.

Can you draw the level buttons too?

Buttons and stars work best as separate transparent images; order them as a game icon set and place them on the map in your engine.
