About this service

Brainstorm notes, lecture notes or a planning page in a notebook often hold a good structure hidden under arrows, margins and abbreviations, so we turn a photo of them into a mind map: the central topic in the middle, main branches in different colours, short sub-points and simple icons. You type the topic and branches as they should read, and we keep your grouping and wording, without adding ideas of our own. Each PNG is made from one of your pictures, at about 1.5 megapixels in the shape of that photo, so a landscape photo gives a wide map; it is redrawn, so small words can shift slightly and need your check.

What we need from you

Up to 5 photos as PNG, JPEG or WebP (no PDF) of the notebook page or whiteboard, sharp and taken straight on. Type the central topic, the main branches and their sub-points exactly as they should appear, one or two words each, and say which branches belong together.

Questions and answers

How big can the map be?

One picture holds the central topic and up to about 8-10 short branches or points. Notes from a whole course or a long workshop are clearer as several maps, one per chapter or session, each from its own photo, in a larger package.

My handwriting is messy. Is that a problem?

Not if you type the branches in the brief: we use your typed wording, and the photo shows the structure. Abbreviations stay as you write them, so spell them out in the brief if the map is for other readers.

Can I edit the map later in XMind or MindMeister?

No, the result is a PNG picture, not an editable mind-mapping file, so branches can't be dragged afterwards. Small words and complex scripts can come out imperfect, and Latin-script languages work best; check every word and ask for a revision.

Which notes can you work from?

Your own notes, or notes you have the right to use; a mind map from a book or another company can serve only as a style sample, never for its texts, logo or brand. We don't add other brands' logos or fake ratings and don't recreate certificates, receipts or official forms. Study or health topics stay your content: we draw what you write, without advice.
