Year 1 totals: revenue $212,550, operating profit $37,188, cash at year end $36,988.
What the numbers say
- Months 1–2 are the tight spot. Cash drops to about $2,900 in month 2. Keep at least $3,000 in reserve or delay one hire until month 3.
- Summer carries the year. Months 5–9 bring about two-thirds of annual profit, so plan marketing and staff holidays around them.
- Price matters more than volume. Raising the average check by $0.50 lifts year 1 profit by about $16,900; selling 10% more cups adds about $15,000.
- Payback. At the current pace, the $38,000 start-up spend is covered in roughly 13 months.
All formulas are live in the Excel file: change any yellow cell on the Assumptions sheet and every month updates.

About this service
Whether you are saving for a home deposit, a big trip or a three-to-six-month emergency fund, the plan starts with the target, the deadline and what your budget leaves each month. We work out the monthly amount needed, show how a savings account rate changes the timeline and split several goals so they do not compete. If the deadline is out of reach, you see the trade-off between saving more, waiting longer or lowering the target.
What is included
- What you getA savings plan with the monthly amount per goal, a month-by-month balance table and what-if options, as text and an .xlsx file with values. It is a calculation from your numbers, not financial or investment advice.

What we need from you
Your goals with target amounts and deadlines, what you have saved already, your monthly income and fixed spending (rough is fine) and the interest rate you get on savings, if any.
We will ask you:
- What are you saving for, how much and by when?
- How much have you saved already?
- How much is left from your income each month?

Questions and answers
Is this financial advice?
No. It is a savings calculation. We do not recommend banks, funds or investments; for that, speak with a licensed adviser.
How big should an emergency fund be?
A common rule of thumb is three to six months of essential spending. We calculate both ends so you can choose.
Do you account for inflation?
In Premium, yes: we raise the target by the inflation rate you choose, so the goal keeps its real value.
