What the numbers say
- Months 1–2 are the tight spot. Cash drops to about $2,900 in month 2. Keep at least $3,000 in reserve or delay one hire until month 3.
- Summer carries the year. Months 5–9 bring about two-thirds of annual profit, so plan marketing and staff holidays around them.
- Price matters more than volume. Raising the average check by $0.50 lifts year 1 profit by about $16,900; selling 10% more cups adds about $15,000.
- Payback. At the current pace, the $38,000 start-up spend is covered in roughly 13 months.
All formulas are live in the Excel file: change any yellow cell on the Assumptions sheet and every month updates.

About this service
A standard monthly budget breaks the first time a client pays late. We build one for income that changes month to month: a baseline from your leanest months, a buffer account that smooths good and bad months, money set aside for taxes on every payment and simple rules for what to do with a big invoice. You get a budget you can follow even when you do not know next month's income.
What is included
- What you getA baseline budget by category, a buffer target and rules for splitting each payment between taxes, buffer, spending and savings, plus a 12-month table from your past income, as text and as XLSX and DOCX files. It is a plan from your numbers, not tax or financial advice.

What we need from you
Your income for the last 6 to 12 months (a list or a statement export), fixed bills, typical spending, the share of income you set aside for taxes in your country and any savings you already have.
We will ask you:
- How much did you earn in each of the last 6 to 12 months?
- What are your fixed monthly bills?
- Which share of income do you keep for taxes?
- Do you already have savings or a buffer?

Questions and answers
Is this tax advice?
No. We use the tax share you give us. Ask an accountant in your country how much you really owe and when to pay it.
Can I send a bank statement instead of a list?
Yes, as a PDF with selectable text or an Excel file. Hide account numbers; we only need dates and amounts of incoming payments.
What if I just started freelancing?
Then we build the baseline from your planned rates and the minimum you need to live on, and the plan tells you when to revise it.
